Seeking skilled and passionate associate and/or licensed level clinicians to join a collaborative, warm, and down-to-earth San Francisco-based psychotherapy practice. Our services are exclusively teletherapy and we welcome applicants from diverse settings throughout California to apply!
Our practice offers a wide-range of services with unique specialty areas in Perinatal Mental Health, Substance Abuse, EFT focused couples counseling, Men’s Issues, Self-Esteem and Relationship Issues, and therapy for Life Transitions.
At the heart of our mission is a community of therapists who believe in the value of feeling safe and feeling seen. Warmth and sincerity are the pillars of our approach, providing a safe space free of judgment where clients can work on those unique issues that bring them to therapy.
About the position:
You will provide individual teletherapy to adults located throughout California. Ideal candidates will work up to caseloads of approx. 20 clients per week. We emphasize the importance of self-care and encourage all of our staff members to find a healthy balance between clinical 1:1 client time and admin work. Master level Associates and Psych Assistant clinicians will receive supervision hours in accordance with your license requirement, with additional time made available for consultation wherever needed. Licensed clinicians will have a minimum of 1-2 hours of monthly 1:1 consultation time with our founders, in addition to monthly staff meetings.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
-Appreciates the benefit of humor and authenticity in the therapeutic environment
-Is eager to be part of team and sees the benefit of collaboration and consultation
-Has strong foundational skills in assessment and treatment
-Ideal candidate has experience working in a substance abuse setting and/or specific training in chemical dependency and recovery
-Has fundamental knowledge of cultural humility and social justice issues
-Has previous training and/or a strong desire to obtain deeper knowledge in the area of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs)
-Our practice will assist with obtaining referrals with the expectation that the ideal candidate will also possess a willingness to engage in general networking to promote self and the practice
-Can work autonomously in private practice setting with the support of group meetings and individual consultation and supervision
-Is familiar with and has strong commitment to adhering to all HIPAA requirements
-Possesses a current registration or license in good standing
-Wants to commit to working in a private group practice setting for a minimum of two years
